Most of the math prerequisites are similar for both classes (Calc up through Multivariable, Linear Algebra, Diff Eq, proofs), and the classes sometimes overlap (Im in a music class right now that counts for my arts and literature breath, and for one of my CS upper division classes). A Double Major is a single degree programme, in which a student satisfies the requirements of two Majors.
